Sharka is an ethical hacker and penetration tester with a passion for social engineering. She breaks into networks as well as into buildings by hacking people. During her rich career, she has had the opportunity to work on both the defensive and (currently) offensive ends of the cyber security spectrum. This experience lets her understand the challenges teams face when trying to secure their networks. Apart from research, she is involved in the cyber community. She co-founded Infosec Hoppers, a group that helps other women in the cyber industry.

Tim is responsible for developing Willis Towers Watson’s integrated cyber risk approach in the U.K. He leads the client outreach strategy and engagements across the full range of people, capital and technology cyber risk solutions. Previously, Tim worked for Blackdot Solutions where he was responsible for client engagement across multiple markets — notably the legal and U.S. sectors — as well as the development of the investigative software to better suit clients’ evolving requirements. He has delivered multiple projects for the EU and UN and other organizations in Africa, the Americas and the Middle East. Previously, he served as an officer in the British Army’s Intelligence Corps with deployments in Afghanistan, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and subsequently, U.K. Special Forces.

Dr. Myra Malik completed her training in Anaesthetics at the Imperial School of Anaesthesia, London Deanery in 2017 and a Masters in International Health Management with distinction at Imperial College Business School in 2015. She feels that in the current times, being a good clinician alone is insufficient in being a good doctor. She is an advisor to the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management, which allows her great opportunities to assist clinicians in developing the key leadership and management skills the NHS so urgently needs.

Dr. Vaibhav Joshi
Chief Data Officer at Virgin Care
Dr. Surbhi Gupta was instrumental in setting up Precision Robotics, a company spun out of Imperial College London that develops medical robots for precision surgery, and raising investment as a senior executive at the technology transfer arm of the university. Gupta was responsible for managing and commercialising the medtech IP portfolio. She has led on several licensing deals and spinout company formation such as Cardian, VODCA and Accunea. She has served as non-executive board director for Imperial spinouts such as Orthonika, providing strategic direction and IP expertise to these companies.
Dr. Vaibhav Joshi (VJ) is a double alumnus of Imperial College, a medic, a Founding Fellow of the UK’s Faculty of Clinical Informatics, a reviewer for the NHS Digital Academy and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional. An Emergency Physician by background, he has held several senior management positions within the NHS and private healthcare sectors. He has a keen interest in healthcare analytics informing decision making.
